What Can Optimal Living Do for You?

Optimal Living can help you reach your personal health and wellness goals. From small goals to big goals, our results-driven team will help guide you through your program and assist you every step of the way.

We’ve seen great success with the Optimal Program and are proud to report that after one year of committing to the program, our residents experience 39% fewer falls and 27% fewer hospitalizations.

The Optimal Living aims to make this a reality for every resident and is specifically designed for any of the following 8 diagnoses:

Arthritis

If you have Arthritis, the Optimal Living program will be built around your needs. Depending on which areas of your body are affected, the program can help you manage pain and stiffness while preventing further injury.

If you’ve had a joint replacement, the Optimal Living program can increase joint mobility. In addition to this, the program can help you improve your overall strength and balance.

For residents who have diabetes, the Optimal Living program focuses on lowering the health risks associated with diabetes. This is typically done through therapeutic exercises and aerobic training.

For residents that have Dementia, The Optimal Living program is built around fostering independence. This is done by identifying strategies to help prevent falls and increase overall health in whichever way is most helpful to the resident.

Deconditioning affects residents who have had long periods of bed rest, inactivity or recovery. Unfortunately, this can negatively affect your health. The Optimal Living program can help reverse the effects of deconditioning through endurance training and strength conditioning.

A Cerebrovascular Accident (or a stroke) requires special care. The Optimal Living program can help with post-acute restorative care using adaptive equipment.

Cardiac issues are typically a concern of our residents. The Optimal Living program can help with past and current cardiac issues and work as a preventative measure for future issues. This is typically done through cardiovascular conditioning, strength and flexibility training and functional activity programs.

For residents with Parkinson’s disease, the Optimal Living program focuses on delivering therapeutic exercises, functional activities and neuromuscular re-education.
